About the Brand

                                             Welcome to My Vintage Fleur

A little background info...

I was born, bred and raised in the hills of Nimbin, on a cattle farm not far from town, with orchards, free range chickens and views to die for.

Influences from my surroundings as a child in the rainbow region, the people I had opportunity to interact with, the way of life, the art, the culture and the underlying drive to care for the planet have helped to shape the evolving brand Vintage Fleur.

Equally important, would be the patience my Grandma must of had, when she taught me to crochet at just 9 years of age!!

Yes! I have been crocheting since 9!                                                                                                    I love it.                                                                                                                                                 I love that its an old skill. I love that I was taught by my Grandmother. I love that I can create things, and love some people choose to buy my pieces.

What were made of...

We make an absolutely intentional choice to use the best quality NATURAL fibres to crochet our garments and accessories with - predominantly Cotton and Australian Wool due to the cost effectiveness, reliability of availability and quality of the end product.

I am researching for Hemp options, and will continue with this until I can source a suitable supplier... Because, well, Nimbin that's why.

Where were made and by who...

I no longer live in the hills of Nimbin, though still close by in the rural district of Kyogle, with my husband and three young children.

Everything Vintage Fleur is Handmade, in the Northern Rivers by my hands or on the occasion those of my Grandma (she makes her own products and I let you know this in the description of the products).

On a side note, Vintage Fleur products will soon be available in Nimbin, at The Green Bank!
